This was our second bar that we went to while in New York City. It's nice. They offer food and drinks. We only had drinks. Service was good. Prices were average.

This is great pub just a bit to the North of Madison Park a bit to the East. It is an actual pub scene and while there are servers, so at nighttime don't expect the attentiveness of that of a restaurant. It's not bad service, it's pub style service. You chat with the bartender, you get along and make conversation.... More

I love Britpop and I love Ribena. There are both of things in abundance at the Churchill. We stopped in for some small plates before a show at the Gramercy Theatre. The food was good and served quickly. The music was perfect. If I'm at the Gramercy Theatre again I will definitely eat here.

Cosy and friendly place with staff to match. We had the Sunday roast as it is what I usually cook on a Sunday, especially having had no red meat for 40 days it was exactly what we were craving. It tasted really homemade and as an English girl I have high expectations. Would definitely recommend.

Smug, arrogant bar man who thinks he's got a sense of humour. Pub full of locals but was a bit cliquey and none too friendly. It had been recommended to us by a friend but was seriously disappointed. I'd give this one a miss, nothing special

Enjoyed dinner here 2x recently. Great wait staff and good menu, especially if you like English-type food. I had the chili one evening and the portabella mushroom burger the other, both were great. Only downside was the loudness and a bit dark.

As an Englishman I cannot complain about the roast (me and the Mrs had the chicken and it was spot on). My only complaint would be the extreme lack of service throughout. When we walked in to the place we were not greeted and had to walk around and find a table for the two of us. We found the... More

It was business lunch time, so my client suggested this tavern. We walked in and loved the ambiance. There were cozy booths in the back with lights all over and had their own little rooms, so to speak. We were both in the mood for fish & chips, so that's what we ordered. It was delicious! Homemade fries and wonderfully,... More

Looking for a place for a drink and found The churchill. Good pint of beer for husband and wine for me. The menu looked interesting so we decide to eat. Husband has beef and beer pie which was excellent , I choose a starter, Lamb Lollipops . Six superbly cooked lamb chops, on the bone arrive complete with a dipping... More

Family of 8 adults went here 23rd December for drinks & light dinner. Excellent friendly service & nice atmosphere. The Christmas lishts/decorations were incredible and made us all feel SO Christmassy!! Good food too.
