We were off to a show in the village on a sunny afternoon and wanted to sit outside for lunch first... this was the perfect spot. The menu isn't huge, but all four of us found something... and it was all delicious. Prices were typical,...More

I was craving Mexican food so we came to El Toro Blanco. It was delicious. The guacamole was yummy. The margaritas were good (wish they were bigger). I had chicken tacos that had avocado in them and they were amazing. I also got a side...More

I thought this place was very good… Friendly staff… Good food… I don't think it was a true high-end Mexican like my daughter told me it was going to be… I say bad mostly because it wasn't super comfortable or anything.

We are Texans and we certainly know Mexican food. We were not sure about eating Mexican food so far north, but we decided to give it a shot--at El Toro Blanco. It was fabulous! We each ordered the standard tacos and they were excellent, as...More

A great place to eat if your on a budget in NYC. Their Burrito is rateable to even the Mission in SF. This place was one of the highlights of our trip. Greenwich Village chic.

It's not cheap, so I'd love it if the rice weren't dried out and tough. The shrimp enchiladas were yummy, though again a bit pricy. Nice place to sit at the outdoor tables (see pic). I would go back, but I'd want to see if...More

On a quiet afternoon they managed to mix up two out of three lunch orders at our table. Also, they offered several desserts that turned out not to be available. They did comp us for the one dessert and coffee we ended up ordering (and...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
