Stumbled into this place whilst wandering round on a first night in NY. It doesnt look much but we had some decent food here at a decent price. Big portion size and very friendly staff.

If you like a big breakfast, then this is the place. Eight in the party but no problem seating us together. The food is very good and the menu is extensive. Clean and tidy with attentive staff. Set us up for the day.

We ate breakfast here a number of times whilst in New York. The service was warm and welcoming and very quick. The food was gorgeous especially the pancakes. The cafe was used by tourists and locals which I always this is a sign of quality and authenticity. Will return here next time we are in New York.

Lovely lunch at this old style deli. Fab food, huge portions! Waiting staff very friendly and efficient. Nice to eat where locals do and not " touristy" The walls are littered with stars who have eaten there - highly recommend!

My husband and three children have eaten here twice for breakfast while on holiday in NYC, and we'll be going back in the morning before we leave! Their pancakes and eggs are the best and the coffee keeps on coming 👍

We had lunch here on a very cold Saturday. We were craving a nice bowl of hot matzoh ball soup, but no such luck. We ordered both chicken and matzoh ball soup which were served cold. Despite sending it back, the reheated soup was really bland and the matzoh ball was tasteless. Our sandwiches (pastrami and turkey) were excellent and... More

This cafe has an old school charm about it that puts it in a different league for me. The coleslaw and pickles. The waitstaff wearing waistcoats, and with a quick no-nonsense New York vibe. The chatter around from local NY businesspeople (rather than tourists). I just love it.

We accidentally happened upon Blooms when we got lost leaving Grand Central Station and I think it was meant to be! We decided to stop in to grab some lunch while we figured out where we were. It was a busy work-day lunch hour and there were many locals there having a bite to eat. We were seated by an... More

Breakfasted here, pretty much every day! Food was great, so was the coffee. Staff were able to laugh & joke with us(doesn't always work with Brit humour).

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
