My husband and I ate here for dinner on a Saturday night. The place reminded us of Paris, some little restaurant you'd find off an alley in the Bastille district :). It is very small and cozy inside, every table was filled. Service was prompt...More

We eat here every time we come to New York and enjoy it each time. The staff are fantastic and the beef bourguignon is the best I've had outside of France. There are only about 10 tables though so make reservations.

If you imagine a small, quirky restaurant with really tasty food and friendly service, would you think you were in the West Village? Over the last 15 years, we have enjoyed our occasional forays to Le Gigot. Our most recent experience was excellent. My simply...More

I did not expect to find a French restaurant in New York up to the standard of a French restaurant in France but at least given the high price that we paid, I expected at least better quality and better portions.

Could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Found this charming little place on the internet. It was as good as the reviews and then some. Duck confit was cooked to perfection. Crab cakes were delicious and good wine reasonably priced.

This is a bustling French cafe that was absolutely delightful. We had bouillabaisse, duck confit, beef bourguignon, and a braised lamb stew. With the meal, we had a very nice bottle of chateauneuf du Pape that was reasonably priced. The service was professional and attentive.

Tucked away on a side street off Bleeker is a tiny French bistro that is one of the best French restaurants any where in America. Yes, it is that good. The menu is relatively small, (one side of a single sheet). The other side is...More

A small french bistro with very nice food and service. I recommend both the Gigot d'Agneau and the Duck Condit.

Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted

this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You

Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
