There's a reason this place is on every travel show/magazine/website, the Black Label Burger must be experienced! As well as their cocktails, the bone marrow was an amazing starter

Ok first off, don't try coming here without a reservation you're gonna be wasting your time if you do. Secondly, order the burger and do NOT add anything to it before taking a bite. This is by far my favorite restaurant in the city when it comes to burgers. Not a cheap place so make sure you're ready to splurge... More

Nice place, way overrated and not what it's cracked up to be. Burgers were under cooked and certainly not worth $33? Wine list was very over priced for the type of restaurant it is. There are plenty of places to get a great burger in NYC without the pretense

This small corner tavern in the West Village is much more than its appearance. After a taxi ride from hell we arrived late for a reservation. The affable and friendly maitre 'd, Henry, quickly allayed our fears and put us in a good mood. His involvement was much more than greeting customers. He showed us to our table, made recommendations... More

The weather was bad again pouring rain and cold, we took a walk to this parisian bistro style resto. Already crowded we arrived 5:30 PM only available on this sunday . Ordered sparkling water (french) and Melville Pinot Noir 2013 , the burger the special one with carmelized onions and just rare for me and medium rare for my wife,... More

We visited Minetta after a lot of anticipation. We tried half the menu and loved it. The Black Label burger was outstanding along with bone marrow and steak. Loved the interior, staff and service. Will definitely go back!

My wife and I have had this place on our list for quite a while and we finally were able to get there this week prior to a Broadway show. We've been trying out the best burgers in NYC and the Minetta burger, specifically the "Black Label" burger has gone right to the top of our list. Put your blinders... More

Absolutely shocking!! I was left waiting 45 minutes. And was made to feel like crap. Couldn't even get to the bar. I ordered my food and was offered for a supplement of $75 dollars white truffle. I ordered just one dish. No oil. No oil drizzle no oil drenched veg. AND 5g of WHITE TRUFFLE. It came covered in oil.... More

Im a much bigger fan of fine cuisine with an atmosphere to match than I am a fan of taverns... so I have to be objective in sharing my thoughts on this low key tavern... So, if I was to dine at one tavern, I guess Minetta would be it! I've heard of M.T. several times, but this was my... More

Minetta Tavern's Black Label Burger has been proclaimed the best hamburger in New York. It's made from prime aged ground beef and costs thirty dollars but you will never forget it

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighbourhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
