El Quijote is as old school as you can get. The front room is the way to go. One truly feels like your in a '40's supper club with large booths, low lights on each table and a full bar complete with deep set neon. The cigarette smoke is gone but one can only imagine a cigarette girl gracing each... More

We had 12 close friends come together for an evening of food, fun, and conversation. I ordered a medley of appetizers to share, with the chorizo and the shrimps in garlic sauce, and calamari highlighting the fare. They serve huge portions for the main course, which can probably feed 3, although it is priced for 1. The paella valenciana is... More

Been here a few times and went back this past weekend for a birthday dinner. Great service and the food is delicious! The lobster is the best here!

Very good food. Have at least one dinner here while visiting NYC. This is a great place for a dinner or just drinks at the bar. It's a place to feel the past and be part of it. An escape from packaged New York restaurants.

The place is a token of old Spaniard style infused with a bit of modernism. The bar is dark with wooden oak and red bar stools. Something about the ambience I enjoyed very much. Very cozy and lively at night. I'm a huge seafood lover. Their Octopus and Shrimp dish is amazing. The Mussels are well cooked and flavorful. At... More

I have had the best meals and service at this restaurant for the past 30 years" I started eating here when "the daily double" was $9.99! The daily double consist of 2 lobsters; either steamed or broiled, with either a great salad or rice and a veggie. As with inflation, the lobsters are no longer that great price- but they... More

Good service, great food, but be prepared to take a doggy bag home. I was barely able to finish a delicious veal and mushroom dish, but my eating companions had ordered paella dishes that each could have easily fed all three of us! Needless to say, the tasty dishes were in a microwave the next day!

Simply spectacular Lobster. Broiled is the way to go. The breading and flavors work beautifully together. Pair with a sangria or a glass of wine. The place is vintage and bustling and worth the trip. Suggest reservations.

Went with a couple of friends, one of whom is Spanish, who rated it highly. Huge menu with classic Spanish dishes. All well cooked with very generous portions. The seafood paella was especially good. We wouldn't hesitate to go back
