3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

I've been here twice the first time, I had a lovely meal. The second time recently before a show at the Public Theater. My meal was from the prix fixe menu was not as impressive. The service was prompt and friendly though.

Better than last time. Don't be startled by the, shall we say, "statuesque", women who greet you. Small delicate south Asian women they are not, but they and the rest of the wait staff will give you the finest friendly and professional service you'll find just about anywhere. Likewise the quality of the food and drink. We had the pris... More

2nd time in this restaurant and it was as good as the first visit! It's noisy but the food is incredible. We had the fish soup and the bouillabaisse: perfect!!

Nice dining spot across from the Public Theater by Astor Place. Creative dishes and although nothing jumped out at me, you'll get a good meal here. Attentive service. Highly recommend reservations, especially when there is a show across the street.

We met for dinner at this relatively non-description place. Walked right by it the first time. Well, it is beautiful inside, as is all of the staff (other than one server who kept chomping on her bubblegum). Great atmosphere. Nice drinks. Service was a little uneven. The food is wicked good. Vegetable dishes, salmon, chicken and eggplant are all virtually... More

Went as a group of friends and ordered different items to share. The food was delicious and the portion size was adequate however I expected more attention to detail in such an establishment. For example we were 6 people and ordered a plate of summer rolls to share. The regular plate comes with 5 but a place like this should've... More

Happen to jump into this place because it was pouring outside, after a show across the street at Joe's Pub. The small red neon light outside doesn't convey what is inside. Only got to sit at the bar, where the waitress was more than friendly and brought our bottle of wine over, even though you are supposed to grab your... More

This classical and cult restaurant is still delivering. Great atmosphere, noisy crowd - what one'd expect from this place. The food is good, not amazing. But you don't go here for the food, you're at Indochine for the atmosphere and everything around it.

Love the atmosphere at Indochine. It is rather dark though, in case you are not into that. The food was excellent and the server was very friendly and attentive (and also beautiful).
