Every time we come to NY, we get together with friends from Brooklyn, and we always meet at Volare. The restaurant itself is beautiful - low ceiling, beautiful wood booths, crisp white linens, flowers on the tables. And the food is outstanding. The owners are...More

We had a very nice dinner. I ordered a pasta with vongoli that was simply amazing. We adored the restaurant and the atmosphere.

This ltltle treasure, down a few steps from street level and in it's original location is reminiscent of and Italian Restaurant from Greenwich Village of the old days. When waiters were from their native lands and understood the creation of their food, and dishes prepared...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

Anywhere from decent casual to dress. Because of location, they are close to some large businesses. People come after work in their suits and lunch time. Don't see too much scruffiness in here.
