This past weekend, friends of ours had a wedding reception at the Tribeca Grill. The wedding was small with just family, but we wanted to do something special for the bride and groom from their friends back in North Carolina. The night before, I sent an email to the event planner, Mary and she called me back within the hour... More

Greeted and seated with a warm welcome even without a reservation. Our waiter was incredibly efficient. We felt like guests of an owner- so attentive and professional. A real treat The food choices were seasonally appealing, we laughed that couldn't wait to order- everything sounded perfect. And it was. I think we all did the prefixe ironically - not normal... My husband loved his lambshank. I had the lobster cavatelli with kale and sweet potato. What a disappointment, it was mostly cavatelli, there were 3 pieces of kale, ( yes I counted them!!) a few bites of sweet potatoes and a few lost pieces of lobster. What a disappointment. On to dessert: the brownie made up for the disappointment, it... More

The restaurant is very good. Waiters are very helpful and the food is just great. There's a lot of space so even though it's often fully booked you don't feel cramped. We loved the food and the atmosphere and after dinner we hung out at the bar. Great drinks!

We reserved a couple of days in advance. 5 course meal: $195pp, drinks, tax & tip extra. Not even a champagne toast was included. Really.. The service was very good. The crab salad was good, the ravioli was just ok, the filet mignon was cooked right but not very tasty, the fingerling potatoes were a bit dry and very bland.... More

Could not fault the food. Came out piping hot which is how food should be served. Had the scallops and risotto. Risotto was cooked and season well as was the scallops. My partner had duck which was also cooked perfectly but portion was a bit on the small side. Spinach was delicious, sauce a little too sweet for me but... More

My wife and I were in New York for 36 hours and had dinner at Tribeca Grill on December 8, 2016, based on an article on the restaurant in the Wine Spectator Magazine. The food was wonderful--it was even better than I had expected. The noise was deafening, however. It was impossible to carry on a conversation with our guests.... More

Lot to like about it and it is a safe bet but given reputation I Guess we had high expectations which it just didn't deliver on. We felt there are so many better options in NYC that we would not rush to return here. Positives were location ambience and indeed food was actually not bad. Issues were staff , service... More

OMG!!! Amazing from start to finish. Service, food, ambiance - nothing short of spectacular. Prices extremely reasonable. Love the location - Tribeca is still a hidden treasure and so much more enjoyable than the midtown hustle and bustle, especially during the holidays. Will definitely be returning to Tribeca Grill...the sooner the better...love love love!!!

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
