A return visit to this place. Upon arrival the place was buzzing. We weren't rushed to be seated so enjoyed drinks at the bar. When we were seated service wasn't the quickest and we waited approx 1hr between ordering and appetisers being served. Food was very good but a very busy night which showed through by the service we received.... More

I was looking forward visiting this place so much. It's warm industrial atmosphere, beautiful art works hanging on the walls and excellent service makes your feel special. But when it comes to food it looses all that special feel. Unfortunately. I had beef tartar for appetizer which was actually one of the best I have ever had but after that... More

Had such high expectations of TriBeCa grill after hearing some good things. Very expensive and the food was pretty average (although the brownie was the best I've ever had) Staff were friendly enough but going through the motions. Maybe we just got there on an off night. Many many more restaurants we visited were better in our opinion. If you... More

Exciting buzz to the restaurant as it coincided with the Tribeca Film Festival - plenty of celebrity spotting and people watching, which made for great fun. The dining staff were brilliant, and food was delicious.

Visited this place for a business dinner and loved the food. Everything on the menu was just delicious. I went with their Spiced Lamb Meatballs for appetizer, Amish Chicken for entree, and Strawberry Cheesecake and savored every bit of the 3-course menu. The atmosphere is good but their furniture needs a overhaul- those tables and chairs really don't go with... More

The Tribeca Grill is a renowned New York hot spot in lower Manhattan. This was not our first trip. The atmosphere is comfortable and trendy New York. The food is good. The daily menu has interesting specials. Today the carrot-ginger soup was a great fall treat. The service was excellent--very attentive, professional, and helpful. When in lower Manhattan (perhaps visiting... More

It seems every review site says something about TriBeCa Grill being overpriced. Nothing could be further from the truth. My meal there was sensational and if anything inexpensive by NYC standards. The wine list, as touted in Wine Spectator and elsewhere, is spectacular, diverse, and fairly priced. The wine steward was knowledgeable and approachable without a hint of attitude. The... More

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
