I was expecting something special, based on the reviews I have read here. But the owner was so rude and arrogant that it pretty much ruined the experience. Buyer beware!

This is small and excellent restaurant with wonderful homemade pasta and specials. It is small, doesn't take reservations, and a bit noisy with customers but well worth it. There is a back room that is not immediately evident. We had heard that Barak Obama had...More

Arriving at about 6:30pm at this small restaurant without a booking we had no problem in getting a table. Just 20 minutes later it was packed and people were queueing to get in and I can completely understand why. This is a typical New York,...More

Among this restaurant's impressive background is its hard to achieve 4.6 Zagat guide rating (out of a possible 5) and the fact that President Barack Obama ate there. The closest subway station is the Bleecker Street station on the # 6 line. My appetizer was...More

Other than the fact that at most "normal" dinner times you have to wait for a table, this place is the real thing. A limited menu and an indifferent host shouldn't discourage you from enjoying authentic italian cuisine in a basic but comfortable environment. Nothing...More

My husband and I ate here via a friend's recommendation. It is very small and not fancy at all inside, but the food more than made up for it! (There is some cool decor inside with lots of pictures of celebs that ate here) The...More

One of the reviews on Yelp did mention that the restaurant charged them $90 corkage fee. Keep in mind that this is a no-nonsense place, meaning the business is not threaten by guests, reviews, whatsoever. It's not a new... More
