Raoul's came highly recommended and the food was as delicious as I'd heard. I started with the crab beignets and had the roast chicken for a main course. Both were excellent. The starters ranged from $15 to $20 and the main dishes topped out at $54 for the rack of lamb. The wine list was surprisingly steep, but the service... More

Had a great Brunch with my friends and the food was top level. Had the Burger Au Poivre, and a lot more. This place is the best Bistro I have ever eaten.... Will recommend to each of my friends.

Visited on the recommendation of a friend and had the lunch menu. I wouldn't normally choose a burger but on this occasion had the steak au pouvre burger and it was delicious the best burger I have ever tasted. We had the profiteroles for dessert which were good. And the Sancerre we had with meal was also excellent

Crowded, noisy restaurant with good quality food. When you make a reservation request a booth otherwise you are seated in a straight line down the centre of the restaurant with the backs of your chairs serving as very narrow aisles (only one person can pass at a time and they tend to bump into the seats that aren't pulled tight... I had the Organic Chicken with the Yukon potatoes and it was delicious. Very fresh, well presented and the service was fantastic. It was my first time visiting New York and this set my standards high for any other place we visited while in the city.

Dinner on Thursday evening the place was packed as usual. Wonderful ambience, excellent service and great food make Raoul's a classic favorite NYC restaurant. Its best to make a reservation and if you have to wait the bar is terrific.

Best French Bistro you ask? Yes, without question. I've been going to Raoul's for more than 30 years and when it comes to French Bistro's in New York RAOUL'S heads the top of the list. Not that it has the best french Food in New York, no there are a couple others that probably have it beat. But if you're... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
