My daughter recommend this place , food was good kinda pricey for lunch. Typical New York attitude waiters in a rush , never checked on after serving. Had to beg for more water but the food was great !

Rude service. The waiters were not polite. They were screaming in Italian. They put me some Parmesan on my shirt. He never notices, because he was speaking loudly with someone from the staff. The pastas are good and not so expensive.

The food is authentic Italian and the vibes make you feel like you're in Italy! The pasta is homemade. One of my favorite spots in NYC. I always get the burrata off the black board and the pappardelle alla fiesolana off the main menu. Both...More

This restaurant had potential - hot place, outdoor seating, authentic Italian food. But the owner/manager was completely rude. It was clear his primary interest was turning our table to get new customers. He dressed down our waiter - in front of us- for taking our...More

Arrogant. If you dont understand Italuan they are dismissive. Gave a 18% tip ti an unattendant waiter and waited 30 mins for change that never came increasing the tip to 35%. Only take cash. Rip off.

I expected more from Bar Pitti, so was disappointed. The Italians speaking Italian was just okay. I've stayed in Rome and Matera for 3 months last year so I know what the real thing is. This is New York's version so I'm okay with that....More

If you don't mind sitting shoulder to shoulder with your neighbours this is a very popular place and for good reason. The pasta special of the day was linguini with truffles and it was amazing as was the pork bolognese . We also enjoyed the...More
