Lupa is a small Roman restaurant in the Greenwich Village area. Reservations are essential because the place is tiny! If you can get past sitting close enough to people that you can hear their entire conversation, then go because the food is well worth it!...More

Good pasta, small portions. Good service. A bit pricey but I would recommend it. Make sure to book in advance as it gets crowded quickly.

We went with friends and all had the Roman Tasting Menu. The food itself was very good, with the pastas being outstanding and good wine pairings. However, service was rushed and impersonal and overall did not feel that the experience lived up to what we...More

I went for dinner with three others, two were children ages five and six. We had no wine, no salad, and no dessert and the bill was $100.00. The pasta is tasty but the portions are so small that we had to take the kids...More

We came here for dinner. The spinach salad lacked flavour and was mostly just spinach leaves with a little bit of dressing. I ordered the truffled goat cheese agnolotti as a main course and was shocked to be served an appetizer size portion consisting of...More

A popular West Village destination for obvious reasons. Good food. Good Wine. An impressive ‘by the bottle’ wine list. Very nice selection of salumi. Hard to find a better dressed salad. But if f they’re packed and you’re in line for say 20 minutes, they’ll...More

We were surprised that the restaurant was as small and as comfortable as it was. It definitely had a warm, European feeling. The meals were excellent, and the wines our server suggested were spot on.

Lupa serves fantastic pasta, often lauded as very authentic. If you are celebrating a special event, I recommend you try the 'Pasta Tasting'. You get to taste a variety of amazing pasta and will definitely leave with a full stomach. Service is great, no issues.

I came to this place solely for their Cacio e Pepe, which tasted just as authentic as a dish from Rome. The restaurant is very small and I suggest making a reservation beforehand, but either way, you'll be blown away by the delicious Italian food...More

Recommend out-of-towners go straight from their plane to this lower Manhattan, cozy neighborhood spot. The smoky Manhattan is a must try. The service is efficient, but with great storytelling if you have time to ask questions.

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
