Had a post-theater, late night dinner. Place has calmed down a lot from pre-dinner crowd, and the loss of ambience is not made up for by the lacking decor. But, most important, the food was good. Dropped in as I was passing the area. Fancied sushi. Very clean look. Staff are attentive. Sushi was average, the salmon really delicious and well cut. Miso soup average to bland. Good for a quick top up but expect to spend upwards of $40 per head with one beer. I guess this is an average NYC price...

We've been walking past Haru since we moved to the neighborhood and always wanted to go but was conscious it may be expensive for a local Saturday meal. So we thought we'd try it when family came to town and we couldn't have been further from the truth. The sushi and sashimi for 2 platter could've fed 3 easily; all... More

Fresh sushi. Prompt service. Very busy especially in warmer months as they offer sidewalk dining. Best advice is to get there early.
