I eat here daily, amazing! The food is all homemade. The chicken rice soup is out of this world!! I buy the chicken cutlets for days at a time! A must eat!

Had a ravioli with ice tea with a colleague. Wood was ok, and service was reasonable. I will come back again when I am in the area again.

Nothing Manhattan fancy, just good comfort food reasonably priced, and friendly, easy-going staff. It was exactly what I wanted on a cold rainy night. Spaghetti carbonara was excellent. Lots of regulars well treated. One older couple came in and their order of wine and big bowls of steaming soup were on the table waiting for them. Takes credit cards, but... More

Three of us had lunch at Lamarca on 3/3/16. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli, and bow tie pasta primavera. We all enjoyed our food. We were served bread and salad before the meal. Bread was great, baked in the shop next door. Salad was good too. The only thing that bothered me was that one person in my group... More

I have passed by this restaurant so many times I have become almost unaware that it is there .. The reviews have always been favorable and I have a particular partiality for Italian food and especially pasta .. I wanted to try take out but it's cash only and in New York that IMO is kind of silly .. Every... More

I was here on Friday November 13, and enjoyed their tomato soup, and ham/ with roasted red pepper sandwich. In addition, to the food I ordered an apple juice. Situated at the back of Baruch, this is a convenient sandwich shop that claims it has been around since the seventies. Yet, at $14 for soup and sandwich juice, I found... More

JUST BARELY 4 Were it not for the excellent California Cabernet, I’d have given this place a 3. Their wine list, though short, looks good. The pasta, a tad above average. My better half shares my lack of enthusiasm. With that said, the service was swift and friendly, and the tab, at $44 for two, quite reasonable by New York... More

If you're looking for an affordable meal and good pasta in a non-touristy atmosphere, Lamarca is the place to go. The restaurant is very small, (maybe only 10 - 12 tables) but inviting. I lived in Manhattan from 1999 through 2004 and this was a regular neighborhood go-to place for me. I usually visit Manhattan once a year and always... More
