Spent a Saturday at the Met and was looking for a nearby restaurant, kid friendly and not too expensive. Tiramisu was perfect for us. I called at 8pm for a table for 6 and was told if I could come right away they would hold it for me. Found street parking right out front and we were taken right to... More

We had a larger party of 6 adults and a baby and got in without any issue. The food took a bit of time to get. The portions are not that grand and prices are a bit high. The service was pretty good. The best thing they had was the pizza. The white pizza was the best part of dinner.... More

Charged a 20% tip when brought bill because claimed my boyfriend was european and "europeans/foreigners don't pay tip". Charged the suggested tip without allowing us to even decide the tip. Do not go here!! Rude/uneducated manager.

We stumbled upon this restaurant during a visit to the Upper East Side, after the restaurant we intended to go to was packed. The dining room is quaint and cozy with a wood-burning pizza oven nestled in the back. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We started with wine from the extensive wine list. We shared the glorious eggplant and... More

Outstanding! Had lunch after The Met with my family. Only 3 blocks down tree-lined 80th street is this NYC gem. Our friends highly recommended Tiramisu for their consistently great food. They've been dining there for years and said we had to try for ourselves. We were in the neighborhood, so we did. We had a seat by the front windows,... More

Ambience was decent, their main business appeared to be pizza. My wife and I had fish and veal entrees respectively ,as well as salads. I couldn't get a beer on tap and I had to settle for one of their small selection of bottled beers. Service was good. It was a bit on the pricey side, considering the food was... More

This place is small but the food was good. I didn't love my Western Omelet - it was just ok but the fries were good. My daughters both had pasta and both loved it. It's a small place serving lots of italian dishes with a brick oven for pizza. Small but nice and clean.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
