The atmosphere at Scalini Fedeli is old world from the ambiance to the beautiful decor & service. This is a restaurant where the customer comes first as the service is impeccable. From the minute we arrived through the end of our visit, it was a wonderful dining experience. It is a Prix Fixe menu but there are many dishes to... More

We've been to Scalini Fidelli several times and they never disappoint. The service is excellent, the room is lovely and the food is wonderful. One of our very favorite restaurants.

We dined at SF on our very first trip to NYC in 2009 and decided to revisit this year. It was still a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Yes, the restaurant is a bit old and may need a coat of paint but you may want to thank the beautiful, real candle smoke for that. Those candles truly... More

The service was suburb. They made you really feel special and pampered. The food is top notch. It definitely should be on your bucket list to try if you are in the neighborhood.

This restaurant is absolutely regal in its setting with Italian warmth and atmosphere, fine wines and divine cuisine where you can truly sample a "taste of Italy." Food on the prix fixe menu is fancier than you might expect -- every dish served with care down to the detailed flower etchings of the plates. In everything from the fresh breads,... More

We have dined here many times over many years. It's our go to restaurant when we want to celebrate a special occasion and/or to treat ourselves to a great dinner. Last night was the latter. We have always found the front of the house to be spot on while the kitchen puts out some fabulous dishes. Check out their menu.... More

We came as a gift to our boss. Food was great to average, depending on who you talked to. I enjoyed most of my dinner. My friend did not like his fish at all. he said it was bland. The pastas were really good. Fixed price - very expensive.

Upon entering the restaurant and meeting Emad until we left with large food bellies, the entire evening was exceptional in every way. Service, food, presentation and flavours were amazing.

Scalini Fedeli ranked among New York's finest restaurants since its opening in early 2004, taking Italian cuisine to new heights. Rewarded with the highest overall ratings in the Zagat Survey, Scalini Fedeli has been granted one star by the Michelin guide in it's inaugural 2006 issue.

The inviting decor features vaulted ceilings and European antiques and provides the perfect setting for chef Michael Cetrulo's delightful cuisine which offers the finest ingredients coupled with a confidence and grace that ensures your meal will be a memorable one.

Menu highlights include soft egg yolk raviolo with ricotta and truffle butter and New York's finest venison chop in a port wine and balsamic vinegar sauce with toasted hazelnuts, sauteed spinach and roasted Mission figs.

The 350-bottle wine list encompasses all regions of Italy but also does justice to the best American wineries.

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting.
