Went here to celebrate a special occasion and it was great, the food was superb, the waiters knew the occasion and the chef even made the dessert special for us. The restaurant does a price fixe at $70pp then you pay for your drinks, they have a great wine menu and there are many choices on the menu to choose... More

A true gem. Located in a small, older building on a side street in Tribeca, the atmosphere is classic, old style with romantic lighting and candles on the tables. The dining room is well laid out and although a bit small, the tables are not so close to one another that you can’t have an intimate conversation. The fixed price... More

Well, we finally got to eat here and we enjoyed it all! The food, the service and the ambiance were perfecto! Our waiter Noah (Noe) was wonderful and his recommendations were right on with the wine and the food. Not being rushed to finish your meal in NYC is always an issue. NOT HERE. The dining room was full and... More

I'm surprised as I write this review to hear another reviewer complain of the service. The service was impeccable. My waiter was professional and extremely knowledgeable about food-wine pairings (not to mention, easy on the eyes!). The food was outstanding and has stirred a craving for their truffle-cream ravioli and chocolate souffle. The ambience is intimate and was a perfect... More

Was looking for a good Italian restaurant in Manhattan for a business dinner and found Scalini Fedeli using TripAdvisor on my iPhone. The restaurant is located in a nice Tribeca neighborhood, right around the corner from Bouley, where I had also recently dined (outstanding as well!). The food, atmoshere, and service at Scalini Fedeli were all excellent. They serve a... More

My friend treated me to dinner at Scalini Fedeli and it was lovely. Very attentive service, a cozy atmosphere, and a great prix fixe menu with lots of options. My food was great (crab napoleon appetizer, scallops for main dish) and the desserts were great. The chocolate mousse napoleon was a little slice of heaven. I would definitely return

We recently had the occasion to dine at Scalini Fedeli. Having tried most of the top celebrity restaurants in New York, this one caught my eye, after reading very favourable reviews on Trip Advisor. We were delightfully surprised, with its charming waiters, and delicious, creative food. The menu was presented in a prix fixe style, and the varied choices were... More

My wife and I accompanied a friend last night to Scalini Fedeli, a place I had often been curious about but the name never really resonated with me so I never ventured forth. That was a mistake - the place is awesome. Tucked in on a Tribeca side street, SF is a wonderful experience in relaxed elegance. I started with... More

Scalini Fedeli ranked among New York's finest restaurants since its opening in early 2004, taking Italian cuisine to new heights. Rewarded with the highest overall ratings in the Zagat Survey, Scalini Fedeli has been granted one star by the Michelin guide in it's inaugural 2006 issue.

The inviting decor features vaulted ceilings and European antiques and provides the perfect setting for chef Michael Cetrulo's delightful cuisine which offers the finest ingredients coupled with a confidence and grace that ensures your meal will be a memorable one.

Menu highlights include soft egg yolk raviolo with ricotta and truffle butter and New York's finest venison chop in a port wine and balsamic vinegar sauce with toasted hazelnuts, sauteed spinach and roasted Mission figs.

The 350-bottle wine list encompasses all regions of Italy but also does justice to the best American wineries.

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
