We stopped in to the Amish Market on a rainy day. We weren't sure what to expect. It was packed!! At first it was overwhelming on how it all worked. But once you figured out what you wanted, there were lots of people ready to help and serve you. We all were able to get something different (taco bowls, Stromboli,... More

Nice place. But the food isn't the most tasteful, kind of bland when talking about the hot food. A bit pricey. But absolutely a nice place to sit around with locals.

Just decided to go in and see what type of market it was and we ended up eating lunch there every day we were in New York. Amazing variety of hot and cold sandwiches, fabulous salad bar, nice bakery and good pizza. Lunch special was two large slices of pizza and a bottle of water for $5. Packed up some... More

Plenty of organic foods, including some hard candy & chocolate, plus conventionally-manufactured products. I tried the 'wet burger' which is essentially a hamburger seasoned with Italian tomato sauce on a bun... surprisingly good. Didn't try the buffet or salad bar but those who did seemed very pleased with their choices. Good selection of beverages, too. Very recommended :).

We stayed down the street at a hotel over Thanksgiving week. This was such a surprise to find and it truly made our Thanksgiving unforgettable. We researched some places to pick up a Thanksgiving meal before we went to NYC, we ordered somewhere, knowing that we would have to taxi or uber to pick up the meal and bring it... More

Great organic products. Yes, pricey, but you're worth it. Lots of great produce that is really fresh.

Nice place when you are looking for a fast lunch. Do not expect any specials. Very noisy and crowded around rush hours.

We visited in October - we were staying at a hotel that offered in suite cooking, so this little market was perfect! There is a terrific selection of products for cooking, some gourmet and some basic. But a great selection of cheeses, sauces, pastas, meats etc for preparing your own meal. The other part of the place offered snacks, pastries,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
