Delightful cafe in center of Broadway. Don’t be discouraged by the tattoo parlor next door. Recommend the frog legs and escargot. Also the fish special. Very reasonably priced 2 or 4 price fix menus. (2 was enough for us). Reasonable priced wines as well.

Pergola des Artistes was recommended to us by a coworker...delicious French food, convenient location for theater. We agree. We six met pre-show and enjoyed a variety of delicious servings, from duck salad, to beef bourguignon, French onion soup, sea scallops over pasta, among others. We...More

This was probably the 5th time l eaten my pre-theatre dinner here. The salad on the 2 course dinner should be avoided as it pre-made, blah and ice cold. A better choice is the lobster bisque which is creamy without being gloppy and is loaded...More

Great food at this little restaurant. Probably need a reservation on the weekend but on a weekday night we didn't have any problem. Lot of the food comes with some sort of a sauce. But I ordered something and ask for the sauce on the...More

The question was: do we sit and eat out not even warm coq au vin or do we send it back risking whatever happens to returned food in the kitchen? One of us returned it and one ate it. Regardless, the sauce was not good....More

Ordered a Lobster salad off the lunch menu with the dressing on the side but when the salad came the dressing was on it. The owner Chris delivered the salad as I sat solo at the bar prior to going to a show. He proceeded...More

Incredibly reasonable for a French Restaurant on Theater Row right next to Les Miserables. I would say dinner for two is between $75 and $90 (before tip) with two glasses of wine, desert, appetizers, coffee and dessert... More

Pergola Des Artistes is a small family-run French restaurant, located in the heart of Times Square and the Theater district. Established in 1963, the decor is still simple and reflects Marie & Jacques' vision of what small French restaurants looked like in their home town of Cominac, in the French Pyrenees. If you're looking for good food at a reasonable price, Pergola des Artistes is for you. If you want haute cuisine, you won't find it here. Many of the recipes were brought over from small villages in France. Today, Christian, Marie and Jacques' son, runs the restaurant. The restaurant has always been a place where tourists, locals and the theater crowd can get a good meal and be out in time for a show.
