Especially if going to CIty Center (100 yards away) or even any Broadway show, this is a great restaurant. Not inexpensive, but not pricey especially with the $29 prix fixe lunch. Wonderful service. Good food. Fresh food. A bit on the animated side, but hey, this is New York.

You can go there as many times as you want, the food is always perfect, no matter what you pick from the menu. And it's really worth it to try a different dish each time, you won't be disappointed. Nice ambiance, well trained staff. You MUST have a reservation. If you don't, you'll probably have to settle for some small... More

My family and friends have been eating at Milo's for forty years. Starting at the first restaurant in Montreal which was founded by the acclaimed chef Costas Spiliadis. Who happens to be a wonderful human being, on every level. Eating at Milo's is an experience that touches on all five senses. That aside, the professionalism and elegance of all the... More

Can be crazy expensive - they charge you per pound for a whole fish bones and all and than serve you a measly portion. On the other hand the fish ins incredibly fresh and tasty. The wines by the glass are way overpriced Greek wines -- one or two are good others are good for paint thinner. They make a... More

On the ground floor of a modern NYC glass and steel building, everything changes when you walk into this beautiful, relaxed, warm atmosphere....primarily from a waitstaff who were knowledgeable, articulate, but most importantly made me feel immediately relaxed and welcomed. They display a broad variety of 5 star fresh (!) seafood, most of which began the day before in the... More

The food and service were excellent. The ambience lively and convivial. You can;t really fault this place. With the new Avra Maddison in play, their is another Greek seafood contender in the game, but I still like this place alot. My main criticism was the price. $275 (inc tip) for a greek salad, grilled octopus, and a shared grilled fish... More

A tired space that has not been updated. Been a fan since it opened, and now live in Miami and am in Milos Miami at least once a week. The Miami location blows away the NY one in design, lighting, service and food quality. Went for an after theater meal last night and it was overall the worst Milos experience... More

I visited Milos for the first Time in Montreal 10 years ago and i fell in love. I wanted to go when i visited New York this year. We went one day at noon and the staff at the reception treated us very poorly, they had lots of tables available and made no effort to try to find a place... More

Wonderful place for a pre or post show dinner. Attentive service and delicious fresh seafood. We chose from the prix fixe menu, which had the octopus, fish, and lamb we wanted. Supplemented with an extra roe appetizer. Octopus on hummus was great as was lamb. It can be a fairly healthy choice to eat here fwiw.

Description
It was in 1980, when Chef-Owner Mr. Costas Spiliadis opened the first Estiatorio Milos on Park Avenue, Montreal. The reason seemed obvious to him: the need to elevate the sophistication of Greek cuisine abroad far away from its stereotyped forklorization.

'I wanted to change what people thought about Greek cuisine, make sure it's being appreciated and awarded with its rightful place on an international level!'

As a small restaurant, Milos gained the trust of the Montrealers in no time. The menu being always simple and impeccably fresh, drew the attention of the media and food critics from around the world. NY Post has triumphly started that 'Milos fish could only be fresher if it swam to your plate!'

What was the secret that made Milos stand out? Its focus in finding the purest Mediterranean products and cooking with the freshest ingredients.Through 35 years of intensive research, we have managed to build lasting relationships with growers and small-scale fisheries at the shores of Greece, Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, flying in our fish and seafood daily by plane! Milos has since then taken the world by strom and opened in 1997 in NYC, in 2004 in Athens,in 2010 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and in 2012 in Miami Beach and in 2015 in London!

We invite you to live the Milos experience and celebrate with us our 35th year anniversary!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
