went for a dinner meeting and was extremely surprised at the quality of the food and overall experience. We had Oysters, a few pasta dishes to split and the whole Branzino cooked in a salt crust. Also very good homemade Lemoncello. The desserts were outstanding...More

We had a pre show dinner at Esca on a Friday night. The staff were accommodating in giving us the table we wanted and promptly attending to our orders, however we found the waiter overbearing and forceful in his suggestions as to what we should...More

Had a taste for seafood and spotted this little gem of a restaurant. Fairly upscale for the neighborhood (waiters in white shirts and ties.) Most diners were casually dressed but a few wore jackets. Staff was very professional and the service was great. Most importantly,...More

Ambiance was good with the crowd. Bread and wine were excellent but the recommended food- grilled octopus and the fish dish was very disappointing. We ordered clam linguine and it was decent. Decent place for a quick stop before a show.

Fresh, fresh seafood. Wonderful for pre or post theater. Don't miss the raw seafood, fresh fish and pastas. I.e. There isn't a bad choice on the menu. And there are one or two non-seafood items for the non-fish eaters in your party. Drawback--the kitchen is...More
