Great for a stop before or after Wicked...literally right next to the theater. We stopped in after for a couple glasses of wine, a cheese plate and shared a stuffed chicken dinner. It was all very good!

Azalea's location is ideal for a pre-theater meal. I recommend reservations. Our meals were outstanding, the staff was attentive, and we will definitely dine there again. Checkout their website for pics and menus.

We ate here for our anniversary after getting referred here by the bartender at Lillie's. large portions so we split the Pollo Azalea and split sides of fabulous gnocchi & even better risotto. Our server was Tatiana and she's so sweet & timely. We're from Texas so every time we return to the City Azalea will be a must.

Dinner for 2 with my son, a find on Tripadvisor. Very friendly atmosphere from the staff and the clientele. Enjoyed the food as well. I ordered the veal chop special, and expected an actual chop. What I received was a very thin piece of veal on the bone, that i think had been pounded into tenderness. It was very good.... More

First we originally thought to go to Azalea because it was in the theatre district. In fact, it is right next to Wicked s theatre. The reviews on line were good but I have to say it was excellent. The staff waited on us knowing we were going to a show...but we were never rushed. The pasta special and the... More

We had a very delicious pre theater dinner here. The prix fix was perfect. Very enjoyable. This restaurant is steps from 'Wicked' and 'In Transit'.

When my wife and I are in Midtown we love to eat at this place. We always manage to get a seat at the bar, and are fortunate to have Jenya as our bartentender. She is always friendly, and attentive. This evening we had their Filet Mignon, and their Pollo Azalea. Both dishes were cooked perfect, and tasted great. Always... More

This small Italian restaurant is next door to the Gershwin Theater, home to Wicked. It was close to our hotel and the menu looked good and I was craving some Italian comfort food so we headed to Azalea. The maitre d greeted us warmly and gave instructions for our seating in Italian. Off to a good start. The negative here... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
