Visited this restaurant and had an ok dinner. Nothing too special or unique. I expected a Wow experience and got an average experience. I should have known something was amiss as there was nothing else going on except for one other table. I wont be going back.

My wife and I went to Dolcino a number of times during a three-week stay in NYC when our son was in the hospital. It was convenient to our hotel and we happened upon it one evening after leaving the hospital at 9:30 PM. The place is clean, the decor is Italian without being a cliche. There was adequate space... My wife's Uncle, who lives 2 blocks from Dolcino's, took us there last night for dinner. He is a frequent visitor. This was our first visit and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the atmosphere even better!

A well run, solid Italian restaurant in the Kips Bay area. Broad menu, decent wine list, very good service.

Disappointed as we've gone to this restaurant many times because prices are right and its in the 'hood'. Unfortunately, tonight was another not good experience. The food is average at best. The spaghetti was good, but the meatballs were a dense tasteless disappointment. Generally the same for chicken Parmesan. But the biggest issue by far for me is the poor... More

This trattoria brings you to the Italian atmosphere in a nice not small nor too big restaurant. There was nice music at a gentle level which allowed people to talk without raising the voice. The service was very attentive. The food was nicely done. They did not have whole wheat pasta as a choice, but they did gluten free kind.... More

This relatively small restaurant is on 2nd Avenue at 29th Street. It is quite quiet for New York. Has an excellent menu and serves large portions and excellent cocktails. The prices are medium, way below of the other steal houses in Manhattan. Wait staff is very pleasant and informative. Service is responsive and quick. It is a place one will... More

I've been going here forever, and I love it.. My favorite pasta ever: creamy mushroom raviol! My favorite salad is arugula salad. But everything you try is very Yummy. The prices are reasonable too.

For a fine Italian dinner near NYU hospital, you can't do better than this reasonably priced place. There are no surprises on the menu, but everything sampled there is beautifly prepared. I don't know where they get such amazing tomatoes in Februsry, but you can actually enjoy the caprese appetizer. R The shrimp parm is delicious too
