It's cheap, fast food...I was visiting New York and was getting fed up of all the fine dining/hotel hosted meals each day. I was staying at the Roger around the corner, and pining something different. The spicy chicken was amazing, everything is already preprepared hence the 4 stars and not 5. Place is very busy, and unpretentious as food is... More

I visited this place the first week of my New York trip. I loved it so much I ate here again before I left the city. The food was amazing for a really good price. There's a food bar so you can choose what to eat or what not. They also sell dishes apart from the buffet and both options... More

Visited after this was recommended to us. Went fairly late on a Wednesday night and there was plenty of places to sit. Having never been before the staff were very patient and explained what we needed to do. Get a tray, fill it with food then get it weighed at the till (pay) and hey presto that's it!! We went... Went on a Saturday night and it was tough getting a table. The back of the place was occupied by a group that obviously already had a lot to drink because they were very obnoxious. Aside from that, they had a great selection of food. You can choose from the pre-packaged items, their hot buffet or fridge.

I like to visit this place and always try something new. Unless you're Korean (I'm not) everything there is super familiar, so in my case it is always an inexpensive yet tasty adventure. Very popular amongst their local clientele yet I would NOT consider it a 'must visit' place in midtown. I'm rating it 'Average' since I'd like to have... More

I went on to this place on a Sunday lunch with friends. You can tell it is a popular place with the throng of people coming and going! The food quality, variety and price can't be beat. I particularly like the fact that you are in and out quickly after a sumptuous Korean fare. Nothing too fancy yet satisfying. Big... More

Think I realized that i really dislike Korean food after this encounter, but the place does seem to have its own crowd of people

The food here is already packaged and sitting under heat lamps. You take what you want, pay, sit (or take out) and eat. It's cheap, tasty and well worth a visit.

After reading all the reviews, I expected to be blown away. I wasn't. They offered hot buffet at about $7/lb and pre-made packed food. There was a good amount of variety in both hot and pre-packages food but like everything else made in large quantity, the seasonings could be better. The place is a bit confusing but you follow the... More

Great value with lots of options, you can try all different dishes as they charge by weight. Food was delicious, and it is pretty busy, lots of locals eating there

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
