The lunch buffet from 12 to 4 is amazing. $10 all you can eat, tasty food. If you are looking for cloth napkins and fancy drinks, go somewhere else. I was in NYC for 5 days, I was at Haandi 3 times enough said.

the only Pakistani place to serve food at 11pm at night, this was our last option. The food was quick to make it to our table, but it was COLD. the naan were cold and hard and not fresh at all. there was hardly any taste in the chicken karahi or achari chicken.

We were in Manhattan for one more time and this time decided to have lunch in Haandi Restaurant. The platter is well balanced and good taste.

The long line of Yellow Cabs parked outside Haandi tells you everything you need to know about this two-level Indian restaurant in Curry Hill. The basement is where the $10 buffet is, a 10-12 dish spread that is comfort Indian food (the biryani is a bonus) in an all-you-can-eat communal setting with all the usual Indian food choices. Great if... More

I prefer going downstairs to the buffet room and enjoying chicken tikka masala, biryani, lamb curry, and samosas. You just walk in and if you don't mind sitting in a communal table then you just put your stuff down and go get your food. If I go alone I just go get my food, eat, and head back to work.... More

This is a simple restaurant. The food is awesome. The owner at the counter personally advises newcomers on what to order. The food is remarkable. Service is simple but decent. Very reasonable priced and value for money. A must visit for non veggies. The best dish was the nihari which made us go again. Unforgatable experience. Caution : don't expect... More

All foods are very tasty. And the Chicken Tikka is my favourite. And now it's time for Payaa too. Go and enjoy, you won't be disappointed.

This is one of the eating joints of the Pakistani taxi drivers in New York. I recommend it when you like Indian Pakistani food. The portions are huge, the quality is good and the price is rock bottom. I really liked it and I will be back to try other dishes. Don't expect any luxury or comfort, it's all about... More
