NOTE- The price on the website states starting at 65$ for the lunch tasting menu, but the actual price as recently as April 22 starts at 95$ - a tad bit deceiving. Despite that, outstanding quality food, but wasn't sure how authentically Russian it was....More

My friend and I were craving caviar. After researching extensively we chose Caviar Russe. Wow! is all I can say. This place was great, the caviar was obviously amazing but the menu was interesting, bursting with flavors and really made us think. I love this...More

Oh, where should I start?... First of all, I want to say that we've been to multiple Michelin starred restaurants in the US and Caviar Russe was a total failure! Absolutely the worst experience ever for such a high end dining expectations (and price)! We...More

A chance to do some caviar tasting at a Michelin-starred sit-down restaurant is what got me interested in Caviar Russe but it was difficult to anticipate what the experience would be like. Fortunately, there were nothing but pleasant surprises. 1. Ambiance – we had a...More

Exceptional experience in a cosy and quiet setting in Madison Avenue. There are just a few tables in the restaurant. We had the 10 course tasting menu. Though this was not cheap (245 per person), it was a great experience. Nice service.

Nice selection of caviar (delicious osetra and Perriet Jouet champagne) for first timers and repeaters! Pre fixed (3, 5 or 10 course) selections for dinner were terrific, egg selection quite different and enjoyable!

We heard that Caviar Russe had a Michelin star, and we love caviar-- our fancy NYC lunch sounded like a no-brainer. Unfortunately, the food was disgusting. Our appetizer, the King Crab, was quite good. We didn't mind that it cost over $100, because we got...More

No. For lunch, we go casual but never jeans. In the evening, we tend to dress up a bit more. Jacket, no tie for him. Dinner dress (not cocktail) for her.
