Pampano was a hidden gem within walking distance of the hotel. I was in NYC celebrating another birthday. The food and service was excellent. The restaurant has inside as well as outside dinning. On a nice night I suggest you do the outside. There is...More

Had the misfortune of having lunch here on a 90 degree day so it felt like 95 inside. The chic paddle fans did little to move the air and with a full lunch crowd, the noise level made conversation difficult. The menu is inventive, when...More

I had been here for dinner a few months ago and absolutely loved it, so when I had an invitation for lunch, I immediately suggested Pampano. This time, we sat outside on a beautiful day and it was glorious. The service is top notch and...More

Booked last minute looking for a local nice restaurant. Ambiance was outstanding and service was impeccable! Menu was very limited.... primarily seafood. Excellent taste and presentation. Portions were incredibly small for premium prices. Drinks were very small:margaritas in high ball glasses. Deserts were ok.

If you are expecting Tex-Mex or the usual taco/burrito fare, you will be disappointed. If you are looking forward to excellently prepared seafood (as well as non-seafood items), friendly, professional service and a relaxed ambience (not to mention their 2nd floor, outdoor terrace), you will...More

I loved the ambiance of this restaurant the most. The light and airy feel is a huge change from Richard Sandoval's typical loud and in your face decor. As always, these restaurants are great for any occasion and any group of people. The service was...More

We were a party of six out to celebrate a birthday with a fan of Chef Richard Sandoval. It was a relatively quiet Thursday evening featuring impeccable service, a reasonably diverse menu beautifully presented (try the Snapper), and a range of cocktails for every palate....More

There is so much to recommend this restaurant - ideal location, close to Grand Central for those travelling into Manhattan - excellent food, in terms of both quality and variety (I highly recommend the octopus and paella) - efficient and friendly service - festive ambience....More

This was the first restaurant we ate at once we landed in NYC and it did not disappoint. Excellent classic margaritas and great tapas menu. The seafood options were a definite highlight. Loved the shrimp tacos and we also had some pork appetizers which were...More

There are things you notice in restaurants that indicate what the food may be like. An empty downstairs dining room with chairs on tables, a slightly worn carpet and menus that have seen better days. We are no experts on Mexican food and the chains...More
