Rather decent Moroccan food can be found here. This place is for the neighborhood, low key, friendly, and with competent menu and nice service. Brunch line is long but we got a seat as we were one of the very few party of two. Many...More

Good food, but it is Moroccan food light if you really know the cuisine. Still it is atmospheric and the drinks are very good. So worth a stop if in the area.

I had lunch here on a recent visit to NY, and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a comfortable space, with very friendly and capable staff. The food quality was fresh and well prepared. I shared the falafel and hummus plate, and had the salmon sandwich. It...More

Always teeming East Village basement and outside Moroccan themed sure fire haunt. Slow cooked deep flavored tagines are what comfort food can be. Spiced carrots a big surprise. Everything top notch. Lots of regular stuff if not feeling adventurous, like duck breast and hangar steak....More

Don't let the word "Cafe" in the name fool you... for this is a very good restaurant. It was buzzing, even on a wet Wednesday evening and the Moroccan inspired food was delicious. Highly recommended.

There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college

old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
