I went to this place to do a meeting. I needed a place next to the Penn Station and in that regards this is absolutely the nearest to the station. The place was quite full but playing Bon Jovi at high volume. Even at 5 pm, we could only get a high table for drinks as the tables were all... More

That's the joy of being close to Penn and MSG Sandeep. Our upper dining room is quiet and yes I would recommend a reservation on event nights. More

We were staying in this area for a concert, and found this restaurant on our phone, so we had no prior information. We had a great brunch - I had the Eggs Benedict, which had the Irish bacon, and my husband had basic eggs which came with the blood pudding sausage (which he loves), beans and other sausage. The price... More

Attended this amazing place with the family over St Patrick's Day Eve, thoroughly recommend it, staff so welcoming and friendly, Guinness one of the best I have tasted and the food was exceptional. Thoroughly recommend this place if you are visiting New York.

We chose here because of its proximity to Madison Square Garden, and would definitely return. It is an Irish Pub/Restaurant, a bit on the loud side, mainly because at the same time were a soccer game, cricket game, and MMA on the TV, but it was a lot of fun. Good atmosphere and excellent food. The waitress was lovely, but... More

My family and I made a reservation here to celebrate a birthday and enjoy dinner before seeing Billy Joel concert at MSG. Dinner was excellent. We had the shepherds pie, fish and chips, a cheeseburger and the steak. Portions were just right and the service was great! Our waitress, Antoinette was excellent (our glasses were never empty). Paul (?) at... More

First full day of the trip and popped in for one at 11:00.....Four points later, we had to give ourselves a hard talking to and get back to following the "itinerary". Barman was great, as we're the drinks. Would love to have revisited, however wasn't back in the area again.

Have eaten at the former location for years and never disappointed. Was not totally liking the sports bar TV decor. The interior decor was nice and loved the colors. Service was good. We all had the Fish and Chips. They could have been a little crisper. Wanted to have the lemon tart for dessert, but it was not on the... More

Yes, the decor is different and the menu has changed from the other location but we still have that Irish hospitality going. Thanks for the feedback and I will request that the lemon tart makes a comeback for the summer. More

Made a reservation thank goodness. 1/11/17 evening at Madison Square Garden to see Billy Joel. The food was terrific. Portions were way more then we needed. Waitress was awesome. Very loud inside so it was hard to hear each other. Other then that, terrific.

Tir Na Nog was my go-to restaurant if I was attending a show at Madison Square Garden and wanted a meal I knew I would love.
