Such a neat restaurant. Apparently it's the oldest building in Manhattan and George Washington ate there. Very cool old building. Big on whiskey and beer. Two moms with their two teenage children stopped in for dinner. We were seated in the bar area which was...More

I love Fraunces. It is so unique in terms of history and vibe, and the food is very good. Probably the best tavern grub in NY. Wine, spirits and beer lists are excellent. My recent visit was wonderful in every way except for the service....More

Dinner with family in a retro style restaurant. Really I have not understood which type of restaurant is it: historical with traditional food ? or more touristic place? In any case the food was good and the price in line. Can be tried ......................

The food and atmosphere is wonderful. The chicken pot pie was delicious. However, had to wait to be served and then waited forever for the tab. Keep the great kitchen help but definitely get more waiters

For about 10 minutes I sat at the bar, nobody even acknowledged my existence. On my way out I passed by the washroom for drinking some tap water.

We ate here in March 2018. A neat restaurant with an historic theme centered around a George Washington. The food was good as was the atmosphere. The steak on stone was very good. The small museum was an added plus. Would definitely visit again.
