Full of old world charm. A lovely spot for lunch in Greenwich village. Service was excellent and prompt. Great selection of lunchtime foods and drinks. Cheesecake was delicious as was the panini. Take your time, and enjoy the decor, which is eclectic and full of...More

Historic café. Nothing like sitting out front and watch New Yorkers stroll by and eating your dessert and having excellent coffee. Unbeatable!

Cafe Reggio on MacDougal Street is one of the last of the old time cafes the West Village had a plethora of in the '60's, '70's, and '80s as well. Sad to see them go. One imagines artists and writers frequenting these cafes, people playing...More

We came here for a quick beverage and a break to rest our feet. My grandmother had cappachino and my sister and I each had a cold hot chocolate. The cappachino was good but the iced hot chocolate was bitter and sugar free and we...More

With a claim to being the first cafe in the US to have a cappuccino machine this spot has lots of old world charm. Needing an afternoon break that did not include Starbucks this place was a delight. The coffee was excellent too!

This gem in the West Village has been here unchanged in any respect except the addition of a modern espresso machine since 1925. The original ornate espresso maker is central to the decor which include a number of old Italian paintings (which really need some...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
