The atmosphere, the service, and especially the PIZZA is the best in NYC. We go every trip to the Big Apple! The later you go, the line is longer but it really does go quickly. This is a thinner crust...more Florentine than Neopolitan.

We've searched the island, trying every highly reviewed pizzeria and our vote is for John's Times Square. The property is really cool with an incredible mural in the main dining room. But that only adds to the experience, the highlight here is the brick oven pizza. Absolutely fantastic! We started with the Antipasto Salad which was a great choice. On... More

Johns Pizza is a must see. The pizza is to die for with thin crust style. Their pizza is fantastic. It's a busy place so be prepared to wait if you don't have reservations. The location is a former church making it unique. Once you order the food comes relatively quickly. Highly recommend.

DO NOT eat here if you have Celiac disease or food allergies. We went to John's the other night and left totally horrified by our experience. After assuring us they would be able to safely cook gluten free pasta for us, they delivered my 7 year old daughter with Celiac Disease wheat pasta. I doubled checked with both the food... More

Wood fired pizza served in an old church complete with stained glass dome. It is casual, good, reasonably priced. Been numerous times and I keep going back! You will not be disappointed. Close to the shows so grab quick dinner and walk to the show of your choice!

Pizza ***** Service***** Ambience***** The pizza was delicious and perfectly prepared their brick oven. We were seated in about 40 minutes. The salad was simple and very good. The stained glass ceiling and artistic touches were very nice. Close to the theaters. A meal here needs to be on your bucket list.

Stopped in for an early lunch. We had a large party but they did their best to seat us quickly. Pizza has just enough sauce. The salads were very large and the beer was nice and cold.

We went with a large group and sat on the top balcony overlooking the large space below. The food was really good and the starters filled me up! The pizza was lovely also and they brought lots out for us to choose from. You could see the pizzas going into the old coal-fired brick ovens. It was converted into a... More

Great place to have a pizza. Only a minute away from Times Square is this pizzeria. It is always busy and when we got in we had to wait for at least 30 minutes. When I wanted to show my girl the painting on the wall we we offered to get a table 😆 If you ask me .. the... More

We visited on a Saturday night after multiple recommendations. We enjoyed a couple of reasonably priced beers at the bar while waiting for our table. The wait was not as long as expected for a Saturday night and not as long as they estimated when we put our name in. Once we got to our table, the service was very... More
