We went here specifically based on recommendation of a friend who grew up in NYC and said this was the best pizza in town. The pizza was very bland tasting. Neither my wife or I cared for their pizza sauce. Probably the worst pizza I...More

We ate here for lunch mid week because of its notoriety and food awards however were quite disappointed. After waiting 15 minutes for a table, we ordered and our drinks were forgotten. We ordered one pizza and the bruschetta. The pizza was extremely thin, hard...More

I was with a large group. We were aware of the cash only policy. I was not impressed with the pizza. We were given paper plates cups and silverware. The toppings on the pizza were sparse and the bread sticks were bland. Small dining area....More

The pizza was delicious, fast service and the waiter was quite friendly. They accept cash only however so be prepared for that.

Stopped in while visiting little Italy. Greeted and seated quickly. Staff was on top of our order, Brooklyn lager was ice cold and complimented our pizza perfectly. We even met and complimented Gennaro Lombardi III on our way out. This is a must see while...More

We actually visited the Lombardi’s in Chelsea but were not able to find it on Trip Advisor so here is the review. We got right in, the place was almost empty. Service was prompt and professional. We ordered our salad and pie. The Cesar arrived...More

Lombardi's advertises itself as "America's First Pizzeria," and plays on that to draw in the tourists. Unfortunately, it's now the stereotype of a tourist trap. Unlike several other NYC establishments, the authenticity and quality are missing. We had the Margherita which is a classic pizza...More

No first trip to NYC would be complete without stopping at the first pizzeria in America. It was a bit out of our way to get there but was totally worth it. It was the only time we had pizza on our trip and I...More

We were looking for a place to eat dinner on our first evening in New York and ended up at Lombardi's. We happened to be in Nolita and went there very randomly. We learned first when we were inside that it was America's first pizzeria....More

Just plan on coming here to give it a one time try, if you have to. Service is mediocre and pizza overpriced. With individual toppings charged at $3 to $6 each in addition to the base price, our large pizza (8 slices), ended up around...More

Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita
maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant
retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for
“North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to
be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is
popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of
the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry,
Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping,

Only whole pizzas only. Small and Large. I wouldn’t waste time eating there though. There a MANY other pizza places that are much better. In my opinion, Lombardi’s is just a novelty because of its age.
