The Cuban food and drink were excellent. However, our server seemed more interested in the larger tables, which understandably require more time. (We were a party of 2). Nevertheless, after completing our dessert (and considering another drink), no one cleared our table. So, we asked...More

We came here on the recommendation of a native NY’er for a quick lunch. A quick lunch it was not. While the food was good, the atmosphere beautiful, the service was extremely slow and lunch took us over an hour. We ordered a mixed appetizer...More

Entering this restaurant kinda felt like entering the set of Scarface or one movie of that kind. The service was top notch and the food, truly unique (at least front the point of view of someone who had never been to a Cuban restaurant before)....More

I have never had the paella. The Ropa Vieja and sangria are fantastic! Victor's is amazing, though and you will love it. A little pricey....perhaps, but you are in NYC & I say it's worth every penny!

We've been to Victor's Cafe many times in the past twenty years. I've never seen quesadillas or anything similar on their menu. You do know this is a Cuban restaurant, right?

Since 1963, Victor’s Cafe, a family-run New York City landmark, continues to be a culinary voyage to Cuba offering an incomparable experience with its harmony of authentic cuisine, hospitality and stylish environment. Victor’s has the unique distinction of being both luxurious and casual, serene and high energy, family oriented and romantic, exotic yet familiar. The cuisine at Victor’s includes the most delicious, authentic dishes combined with the restaurant’s exclusive creations that represent the evolution of Cuban cuisine. Signature dishes include Victor’s famous black bean soup, shredded beef (“Ropa Vieja”), and roast suckling pig (“Lechon”). The restaurant itself is divided into three spacious dining rooms, accented with warm lighting, colorful Cuban art, tropical ceiling fans, and lofty sky-lit ceilings. The restaurant's Cuba Lounge is intimate and warm, featuring a tapas menu and a variety of traditional Cuban cocktails such as Mojitos and Sangria.
