This place closed about 6 months ago and is currently being renovated for a new restaurant. The same people who owned eatery opened a smaller restaurant a few doors down.

The Eatery is a collection of restaurants, food counters and groceries. You can find pasta, seafood, gelato and deserts. The place is very crowded and has a great vibe. You can shop for unique gourmet food items. There is a roof top bar and restaurant called Etcetcra Etcetera. A great place to try new things.

I had calamari pasta with seafood in the downstairs restaurant area. It was out of this world delicious. The rooftop area looked very hip and a great place to go for drinks.

The staff is very nice. Place is a bit noisy but people including customers are very nice. The drinks are pricey but it is New York!

It is a great place to try all kinds of Italian pasta, seafood, gelato, and as well do some grocery shopping. Our friends asked us to try out the soft shell crab and we did. It was very yummy and highly recommended. Will be back

I've been to the one in Chicago, and found it a little bit easier to navigate. I think it's also bigger? The one in New York is still great, but a really noisy and cramped feeling. Also, it didn't seem as easy to navigate. However, it is still a fun way to spend a couple of hours, and browse all... More

This is an empty storefront and has been closed for several months. TA needs to step it up and make it easier for reviewers to note closures and moves. We ate there a few times and food was good but it is gone, gone , gone.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
