Very nice ambience with warm hospitality and service. A good selection of wines. Spaghetti meat balls, Eggplant parmigiana and bruschetta tomato pesto basil Mozzarella were well prepared and tasty. A good restaurant for Italian cuisine.

It wasn't terrible, but cons include: slow service - maybe 20-30mins for our food to arrive service lacking attention to detail, and genuinity food was 5/10 at best portions slightly small, and expensive crowded and noisy honestly, you want genuine italian food? just pop in next door to Gallo Nero Wine Bar. We ate at both restaurants within days of... More

Poor and unfriendly service and poor food. Disappointing antipasto and sweet White House wine. Forced to tip 18% which isn't worth. We don't come back ___________________________

We visited NYC for seven days and mama Mia 44sw had to be one of the best meals during the visit. We were just walking through the Hells Kitchen area looking for dinner and Mama Mia's caught out attention. It's a nice little restaurant located on a corner. We were greeted at the door and sat at a table next... More

Disappointing - bordering on poor. Mamma and her daughter working there on the floor but who was tending the kitchen? Italian bread was cold and chewy. Eggplant parm was a layered square which was okay - red sauce on pasta was okay. Service was just not there. Waited and waited for someone to take the check - and for plate... More

We were really wanting some good Italian Pizza. So we made a reservation at this place. We arrive 7:30pm on a Friday night. We ordered pizza only to learn that the pizza dough was not ready and would not be for a couple of hours. That was after we had ordered a Sangria at $15.00 per glass. At that point... More

This was the best restaurant experience during our stay in New York. The food was excellent and our waitress Timea was superb and actually made the whole experience fun.

This was a very nice Italian restaurant in New York City. There were 4 of us and they mostly got our order right. They left off the chicken on one of the dishes and that was about the only flaw they had. My wife doesn't send food back to the kitchen so she just ate the pasta without the chicken.... More
