We had an early dinner at this restaurant. Starting, my Vodka Martini was one of the best I have ever had. Service was, undoubtedly, unbelievable professional and friendly, and the steaks were out of this world and served, exactly, as ordered. In one word, TERRIFIC!!!!

Absolutely over priced, service was ok, management walked around doing nothing so friendly, toilets filthy (my 7 year old even noticed). After ordering 2 fillet mignon (approx $45 each no sides although it was good) were told they had none left then miraculously the chef found some upstairs (where?), think they may have been trying to get rid of the... Given the price involved I have to say I was greatly disappointed by my experience. The food was mediocre at best. A poor shadow of what one can get at The Capital Grille. I ordered a medium rare Filet Mignon and received something that I would call just south of medium. Of course my wife received a very rare piece... More

Your paying for the location, saying that steak was tasty but expensive. I don't know if I will go back but I'm happy I have been there and done that. My only criticism was the sides, well we ordered our steak (massive) and then a baked pot each!! And a side of mac n cheese which I would have as... More

The views of grand central station were amazing. A fantastic place to people watch and soak up the atmosphere of this iconic station. The service staff were really impeccable in their service. The food itself was average, nothing special but edible. This restaurant for me is all about where it is. A little like paying for the view in Paris... More

My kids and I met at Grand Central Station and decided to have dinner there, since we were very hungry and it was just there. It was perfect!!!! One filet mignon and two rib eyed steaks...omg! Delicious!! Side dishes were truffled creamy spinach (yummy!!!!), sweet potatoes fries (yummy again!!!) and mashed potatoes (yummy for the thirth time lol). I was... More

We had a delicious lunch here. This is a cotton linens kind of place, so it's probably won't be your everyday pit stop for lunch as it's pricier than other eateries, but the food is great and the atmosphere makes this an unparalleled experience. The service is great too, so I would definitely recommend. This would be a lovely surprise,... More

We booked a table for 6 for a birthday celebration via internet in the UK. We also asked for a table overlooking the balcony as your in Grand Central Station. Whilst in NYC we popped in to confirm booking (you never know) and everything was there including our special request. DINNER - As requested we got a balcony table and... More

You almost forget why you are there as you look out onto Grand Central concourse. However the steaks were amazing as were the cocktails and brilliant service. It was my third time in New York and the friendliness of the service here never diminishes. Michael Jordan's is a venue for all ages and for all occasions. Thanks for a brilliant... More

It was out last night on our trip to NY. We decided to spend it here in the middle of grand central. What a spectacular view of the station. We had lovely food, lovely company and the staff were amazing. We had our hearts set on having NY cheesecake for desert and the waiter took them off the bill, which... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
