On a recent trip to NYC I went looking for an old stomping ground bar (Raccoon Saloon) and instead stopped into the Reade St Pub. Sadly our server Kasey (ask for her she's super personable) told us the saloon closed last July. This bar is a nice alternative. Interesting convo at the bar, lots of FDNY memorabilia, a globe on... A terrific pub with sports and bands - a great venue - felt like the pub around the corner for the locals

Amongst the pricey restaurants in the area, finding this bar was a real find. Not too busy and a good menu. The place is also a sports bar with several different spots on the TV. Prices were reasonable and service was good

it's a bar that has been there for a long time and they do a great job on the drinks. The food is good too.

My final stop before heading back to the hotel. I thought I'd grab a quick beer on the way past and instead met some guys celebrating a birthday and it seemed rude not to buy a few drinks! I had an awesome time!

Walked in and it felt so comfortable. Jukebox in the corner, air conditioning working well (very important in this NY heat), and plenty of space to spread out. Good selection of beer for a neighborhood bar. I had IPA and some Becks bottles, and moved onto the spirits later. But that was after I had some food, and what I... More

I wandered across this place while looking for a place to grab a sandwich and a beer on a Friday night solo traveling recently. I did what any decent TripAdvisor contributor would do- I stopped on the sidewalk and looked it up with my app. All of the reviews I read had the same sentiment- "great place for a dive... More

You MUST try the quesadilla! Great food and friendly atmosphere. Unassuming local pub with friendly staff, sports on TV, and a homey atmosphere.

What a find this place was; on a scorching hot Friday afternoon we found this place to have a late lunch. Amazing air con, a great choice of food (with excellent specials) and a huge array of beers on tap. We re-visited a few times again in the evening and had wonderful bar service and a great atmosphere. A must... More

On our walks throught TriBeCa we found this great pub for a late lunch. Starters - nachod, jalapenos & hot wings and main course - we take burgers, very tasty, extra big portions. Lot of beer sorts. And my absolutely BEST Long Island Ice Tea of this NYC visit. Will definitely visit again when back in NYC.

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
