Our server Joseph was exceptional. Joseph took the time to explain the menu and get to know us! The food was delicious. This is a must try in NYC! My son had never had Monk fish and it melted in your mouth. The made in house pasta was perfection.

We've enjoyed this restaurant a dozen times and never been disappointed. The Food is fabulous, especially the antipasto selection, the desserts and the Dover sole! The staff are very personable and always efficient. We prefer sitting downstairs because it's tight upstairs. Our favorite in the city!

We visit here for a late supper after the theater on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. The staff was welcoming and friendly and the service and ambience were just fine. The food was o.k. but nothing to write home about. I had an unmemorable Margherita pizza and my wife's pesto ravioli was over-sauced and more oily than she would... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria Dell'Arte this past weekend. We were going to a concert at Carnegie Hall, and had an early dinner reservation. When we entered the restaurant, we were personally welcomed to the restaurant by at least five different employees. They made us feel very special! We were asked about our seating... More

We ate at Trattoria Dell'Arte last night. In spite of the fact that they were extremely busy, the service was spectacular. We were greeted and seated immediately, and the wait staff where attentive, cheerful and helpful. The space between tables left some breathing room which was nice and it wasn't too noisy. The food was very good. I had the... More

Just finished a family meal here, on the Thanksgiving holiday. Out of the 7 of us, 5 of 7 were very pleased. The menu has a good variety of homemade pastas, meatballs, etc. they also have a filet, fish, and several vegetarian choices. Our table recommends the chicken parm, but share one if you aren't starved! Two thumbs up also... More

Just opposite to Carnegie Hall. Great food but pricey. Service is excellent and definitely worth the experience. Thin crus pizza are great. And Tartufo dessert is a must try.

Whilst I had a reservation - which was a little apparently difficult to find - when I turned up - I found plenty of space, the restaurant is large. The food is good, the menu a touch limited, but this is reassuring as they are not trying to be all things to everyone and is suggestive of a genuine kitchen... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
