Hands down best guac out there. And I know my guacamole. They make it table side, and it is so good that I'm usually stuffed by the time the meal is served. Somehow I manage to scarf down what I order though. The fajitas are great, as are the enchiladas. I do ask for easy on the sauce as I... More

The restaurant is situated in one of the more upmarket parts of town near central park. On entering, decor is amazing and the restaurant which is on two levels is spacious yet feels cosy. The food which is mexican with a modern twist came out quickly and was amazing. Great service from our waiter. I would advise booking before as... More

As a family we love Mexican food and felt this would be a safe bet. The guacamole and salsa to start were amazing but none of us enjoyed our mains and we left before dessert. Funky decor in the restaurant but cant really recommend and not the cheapest either. Was the worse choice of the holiday

Our family stopped here for lunch on our walk back to the Times Square area from Central Park and the American Museum of Natural History. Great vegan options. And, great options for the rest of us too :) Table side guacamole was outstanding! Really all the food was. And, the service was excellent. We experienced a super friendly and responsive... More

There are many good restaurants around Lincoln Center (excluding PJ Clarke). However, in my view Rosa Mexicana is the best choice. First, it is immediately across the street from Lincoln Center. Second, it is Mexican Food, which is interesting, not pretentious and accompanied by great service. Finally, the food is really good. A must have is the guacomole made at... More

We came here right after Traviata al the Lincoln center, and it was the perfect place. Being a bit late, it was not crowded so even if the place is large and could be noisy it was actually really OK. Great food, excellent service, and a great place, you can still see the lights of the Lincoln center from the... More

I have been to this place a few times and it is always a treat! Fine dining at an accessible price, with only the most formal and courteous service. You will need a reservation if you go at a busy time.

A friend took me to Rosa Mexicano when we were going to a performance at Lincoln Center years ago. I've returned multiple times and have always enjoyed the food. Today's fish tacos were delicious. Tableside guacamole is yummy! I love the interior design in particular the artist designed cobalt blue waterfall wall with ceramic divers.

We have been to another location a couple times and loved the food, bug this location is so pretty, and much nicer. We enjoyed a window seat upstairs. The margaritas are perfect! The Carne Asada was excellent. Always get the guacamole, prepared table side. It is so good!

Definitely worth a visit when in nyc and looking to save a few dollars on food! Not very expensive at all for nyc but still a good value and good food! But the overall best thing is the drinks which are also inexpensive but very strong! Good service as well. If you're in nyc and want to save a little... More

Description
Our highly anticipated second Rosa Mexicano location opened in July 2000. Just steps away from Lincoln Center, this impressive David Rockwell-designed space features a 30-foot iridescent blue tile water wall that spans both levels of the restaurant and is adorned with 240 miniature cliff divers. Here you’ll also find a dramatic “floating” staircase made of orange and red terrazzo slabs and backlit panels behind the bar embedded with rose petals. Awarded “Best Restaurant 2000” by Interiors Magazine, this unique, contemporary look ushered in a new era for us at Rosa Mexicano.
