I had read that Patsy's was Frank Sinatra's favorite hangout in NYC, and we can certainly see why! We stopped in here without a reservation before walking over to see Wicked at the Gershwin, and they kindly accommodated us. It is obvious that this is a family run establishment---they operate like a well oiled machine, probably due to the decades... More

I had the trio of ravioli, which was excellent (along with a salad, dessert, and a couple of Proseccos). Our waiter, Eto, was very friendly and attentive and even gave us a complimentary quart bottle of spaghetti sauce. Nicely dressed servers and white cloth tablecloths made the restaurant somewhat upscale but still comfortable in nice casual clothes.

I had heard about Patsy's for some time.. So naturally on my first trip to the city we had to stop in. My fiancee and I were treated to amazing service and a meal to remember! Coming from an Italian immigrant family myself, I like to think I know good Italian food.. Patsys did not disappoint! We also found the... More

Visited this restaurant with my son on Monday evening - I can't say enough good things about this place - it was fantastic from the moment we walked in. Staff were relaxed and friendly and the food was the best Italian food I have ever eaten. We declined a pudding but were given a tiramisu to share anyway. A magical... More

Great experience. Sal and his wife Lisa treated us like family. The food and service were both first class. Definitely a restaurant to visit if you want wonderful Italian food and old school ambiance.

My wife and I ate there twice. That should tell you everything. The food was delicious. The second time I had the tagliatelle bolognaise. WOW!!!! And we are headed to Bologna next month. Will let you know which is better. Our Italian waiter isn't sure anything matches Bologna, but this is close he said. The friendliness of the waiters, etc.... More

From the moment we walked in the door (both on Sunday night and then again on Friday night) we felt welcomed and appreciated as customers. The service continues to be exemplary. The food was fabulously authentic and nicely served. Patsy's stays #1 on my go-to places when in the Big Apple

Patsy’s is a traditional Italian restaurant for fine dining in midtown near Carnegie Hall. A destination for old school celebrities like Sinatra and Rosemary Clooney, it has an exceptional menu and a seductive dessert cart. It’s one of those long-established New York rooms where whatever you select from the menu, you know it will be memorable. The staff offers old... More

We found ourselves cold and looking for food. My mom remembered hearing the name Patsy's before on the radio. So we gave it a try. The best filet I have ever had. It was warm, inviting. The chef not only created a delicious meal but also introduced himself. It was the perfect end to a wonderful day in NYC.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
