We had a pretty traditional Chinatown meal at Excellent Dumpling House. We started with two appetizers. A cold noodle with sesame oil was a bit different than we have had in the past. It was less spicy than others we have tried and the noodles...More

The restaurant has moved to 165 W 23rd Street. We went to the old location as TripAdvisor haven't updated their records but Google has! We started with the steamed crab dumplings which were delicious. The Dim Sum is definitely a standout. I had the General...More

We really enjoyed our visit here. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance simple, but good. We came for an earlier dinner (around 5:30 pm) so it wasn't too busy. I'm not sure what it is like during dinner-rush times. The service was excellent, as...More

We were in a cafe at the intersection of 23rd street and 7th avenue. We brought a menu, but after that some time the waiters simply did not notice us, although they were not busy. I had to draw their attention. We ordered Wonton noodle...More

Stick to traditional dishes, dim sum and noodle plates and you won't be disappointed or over pay. Don't be put off by small size. These are not gourmet dining spots. But they are the best Chinese food east of San Francisco and always worth a...More

This place was fantastic. We were in town for the weekend and staying nearby, and Chinese is always a reliable family choice, so we checked this place out. Portions were good, food was very reasonably priced, and staff was friendly and accommodating. Best of all,...More

You will not find better egg rolls or shrimp dumplings. This is honestly the best egg roll I've ever had. The service was beyond poor. Waitress had an attitude from the time we walked in the door to the time we left. I have never...More

Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and
smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like
entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle
that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families
stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up
at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from
the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many
bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where

Hello, the place is tiny, and it's always crowded, but the line moves fast enough. Get there early, and build up some hunger while you wait. 15-30 minutes wait. Thats' all.
