Sad to tell you but this native New Yorker went there today for lunch. It has closed for good according to a sign posted on the restaurant's front door. Another one of my favorites is gone. Such is life in the increasingly expensive Big Apple.

Good selection of beers, but disappointed that they did not serve beer nuts. Nice atmosphere, with some quiet areas and a rowdier bar.

We were in NYC for the day and decided to have our lunch here; it was a good choice. We had the clam chowder, a couple of pastas, and the surf and turf. Everything was really good as was the service. The environment is quiet...More
