Long waits on weekends but when we went again on a weekday we got a table quite promptly. Pancakes tasty and fluffy as always. The chicken on waffles was appetizing too.

We went for lunch on a Monday, we had to wait for 45 minutes. The food was good, but definitely not worth the wait or the hype. We ordered eggs benedict pancakes and hash browns. I have had much better eggs benedict and the pancakes were average. Also noticed that most of the clients were tourists. Won't be going back.

Stopped off here twice for breakfast and it was really tasty each time. Enjoyed the pancakes and the omelette. There are cheaper places to eat but the quality here is excellent and the portions are huge. You can tell it's popular as it opens at 8am and is usually full by 8.30am with people waiting. My tip is to arrive... More

This might well be the best breakfast I've ever had. We put this place on our NYC hit-list after lots of online research to satisfy our 6 yr old's pancake craving. We had a 30 min wait at 10am which we expected in advance but were happy to wait and I'm so glad we did. Once ww were seated in... More

Read good reviews online about the place and their blueberry pancakes! Definitely recommend trying their stack of blueberry pancakes! Their orange juice is very refreshing. Lively and vibrant ambience.

Visited with my family on our first morning in New York after seeing great reviews. We combined it with a visit to the tenement museum as it's only a block or two away. We arrived at around 9:30 on a friday, the wait was around 20 minutes for a table for two. They opened up the other half of the... More

This little gem of a restaurant is a bit out of the way but worth it. Small menu but plenty of choice, the pancakes were amazing!! Very nice milkshakes too. My friend had a salad that looked good and was huge. Great staff and good price.

Loved it! Really good food and awesome portions. Bit of a queue so be sure to get there some time before your anticipated eat time. Staff were attentive and friendly. Price decent for what you get.

Fab place, clearly a very popular place but service and quality of food remained high. Had breakfast scrambled eggs Spanish style with chorizo. Yummy.

Everything was delicious and incredible. We ate so much and really enjoyed ourselves. The blood orange screwdriver and potato pancakes were highlights for me. Be prepared for a wait, we went at 2 pm on a week day and still had to wait 15 minutes, but it was definitely worth every minute. Highly recommend a visit.

Thank Kerstin M

Staying in Lower East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighbourhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.
