The serving portion is truly enormous but it's very delicious. We had the seafood platter for 2 pax and we can't barely finished half of it. Quite a queue during peak hours but it's definitely worth the wait.

True. Very very big portions and good food. Nice (NYC) traditional decoration and good ambience (more like Frank Sinatra background music). The service however was nothing spectacular, e.g. when booking we mentioned we were dining there as part of our honeymoon but we were seated...More

Very helpful waitress. Tons of good food! Our family of five enjoyed it all! Because it's family style, we had to agree on two dishes. It worked fine for us. Made a reservation several days in advance.

On a recent trip to NYC, reserved a table for our family of 4 and ate here. Had been here many years ago, pre-kids. Meals are served family style, meaning enough for table to share. Its good if your table all likes similar food. The...More

We had a lovely meal at Carmine's. I chose it off tripAdvisor as something close to my hotel and for some good American-Italian. The one thing I didn't realise though is the size of the portions. They are ma-husive! There were just two of us...More

Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. The Carmine's concept is to bring its guests a "wow-factor" sized portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing amongst friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's.
