Just a few steps from Times Square this Italian restaurant is, not only because its location, always very busy; at least for dinner. I was told that I should wait 20 to 30 minutes. It didn't take more than that. Large restaurant with a long bar where we can drink a beer or a glass of wine while waiting for... More

Had a lovely dinner with my two 16 yr old children. Although we forgot to make a reservation we were lucky to come in late and find a table. The place is one street away from Times Square and well known in NY. We were received by two friendly female hosts and we served by a friendly waiter (alert and... More

My mom love the pasta from here and the food is pretty good. I always pick up food but havent sat there for dinner. It looks like a nice place with a friendly staff. Its a NYC hotspot to eat so book your reservation early.

We went on our first day. in NYC and had never been before. Our waiter was excellent in telling us how much food we would get since we are not big eaters... We ordered Angel Hair Pasta with meatballs . There were only 3 of us and enough food for 5. Bread 🍞 was very good and the pasta, meatballs... More

First came to this restaurant in 2006 thought it was great then and still is eleven years later, the meals are family size so don't need to order too much. Good selection on the gluten free menu.

Had a delicious dinner with husband this evening, 2.17.17. Ordered the arugula salad with grilled vegetables, excellent. Then ordered the chicken special of cutlets with mozzarella, lemon sauce with capers, spinach and also served with potatoes. Really delicious. Also has great bread and a decaf coffee. Just a nice meal and service was good. Highly recommend but be warned servings... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a woman in the Invicta store while we were shopping so we had to try it simply because of her enthusiasm. She told us to order the individual portions because they give you so much food. She wasn't kidding! Not only was the food delicious, we could have literally had two more meals... More

My partner and I have dined at Carmine's two times, once in Atlantic City and now a second time in New York City. Our review is the same for both visits. The atmosphere was lively, crowded, and full of fun. The service was great. Our server was attentive, accommodating and prompt ( even with our personal food restrictions). Delicious, high-quality Italian... More

Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. The Carmine's concept is to bring its guests a "wow-factor" sized portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing amongst friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
