Stopped off for a drink on a warm February afternoon and glad we chose here. Nice cold guiness on tap. My fiance had a lovely cocktail. Pleasant staff and a very charming environment. A great pub with great staff!

Had to visit this landmark for a glass of wine and so happy that we did. She is a grand old dame. The service was doting and the facilities had that old world elegance. Its a must see/experience when in the City.

The Beekman Pub is a staple in the financial district. The pub is very welcoming and comfortable. The Guinness is very good. The food is also very tasty. Ownership is very outgoing. I enjoy visiting there when I am in town.

What can I say, it is sooo NYC, it is soooo downtown. Happy to be back in our old neighborhood for drinks. We had only an hour or so just to have some drinks before heading out to our dinner. We ended up sitting at the far end of the bar, nice place to look up and take pictures. It... More

My 17 year old daughter and I were out late on a Sunday evening enjoying a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge when we started looking for a place to eat. Got very lucky choosing the Beekman from the "near me now" feature on the Trip Advisor app, and had a wonderful meal at this charming pub. It was late and... More

We visited in December and this pub was a great escape from the freezing cold night. Great hearty food, (standard pub fare) and they have a toilet! (Which there are surprisingly a lack of in NYC in my opinion!

We were here for dinner - the food is average/good. We had a roast beef plate that comes with fries (frozen steak fries) - no salad or veggie; and a grilled chicken sandwich that came with the same fries. Outside of fast food restaurants, who uses commercial frozen fries these days? The menu could use an upgrade. The bar was... More

What a great place, it is what it is, the food is good, the beer is good, the staff are fantastic, I've been in NY for 3 days and walked and traveled all over the city, it's round the corner from my hotel and it's great to drop into. Great find - brilliant team in situ

We chose this bar for a quick bite to eat having just arrived in New York from the UK. It appeared to have good reviews and was very close to our Hotel. On entering we were greeted immediately and offered a seat straightaway. It was a Saturday evening but appeared to be very quiet. There is a list of special... More

Description
The Beekman Pub is a New York City Irish Bar that has been owned and operated by Jimmy and Eddie Robinson since 1991 and has been a downtown restaurant hot spot since 1936. The Beekman Pub combines cold beer, fresh food and friendly service in a comfortable setting located just one block east of City Hall in downtown NYC. In our irish bar we have an excellent variety of beer, wine and liquor, and the Beekman is one of only a few downtown irish bars that serves a perfect pint of Guinness. We do hope that our pub will become one of your favorite downtown restaurants for business lunches or for just having a drink with co-workers at the end of the day. Since 1936, The Beekman has been catering to Wall Street's biggest & best appetites. Sit down for a drink or spend some time enjoying daily Irish delicacies, seafood specialties & our famous burgers. We now have Direct TV, All NBA Games, 10 Flat Screen TV's throughout the bar. We have MSG, All Knicks, Rangers, Devils and Islanders Games.
