I had dinner with two friends, their food was fine. I ordered a dinner salad with scallops, the scallops were spoiled and I mean ammonia spoiled. The smell was so over powering. I don't know how they served this. Anyway called the waitress had her smell it, she took it back and took it off the bill. I didn't eat... More

If its a proper Irish pub you're looking for then this has to be your choice. Quick bar staff make sure you're never waiting long for your orders. Guinness is probably the best I've had in NYC. I highly recommend this place.

Returned again on our most recent visit to NYC. We always meet here with folks as it's a great atmosphere with very good prices and food for NYC. Love the shepards pie and the Guinness. Great friendly and attentive service. Consistently good year after year on our return trips. Good happy hour prices too.

This was the 3rd time I visited the O'Reillys, the first 2 times were 8 years ago when I last came to New York, and the barman Seamus who looked after me then was still working there which was awesome to see, this time I returned with my new wife so we had a table this time rather than sitting... This pub was recommended to me by the reception of the hotel on 5th Ave. It was late and close to the hotel. This was the best tip I got in NY. I was in NY for two-weeks and I enjoy at least five evening meals at this simple pub but friendly pub. At first I spent my evening at... More

Great pit stop out of the rain but didn't quite have the buzz (and Christmas decs) of the Irish bar a couple of doors away. Our beer wasn't on the happy hour list otherwise would have got a higher score

This is one of a couple of Irish bars almost side by side, we chose this because it looked and felt like a proper pub. We ended up here for nightcaps every night of our stay in NYC and experienced it when it was quiet and also when it was full for the Superbowl game. Service is great and friendly,... More

Location is very unusual for nyc: you go to Ireland in few steps! It is a classic irish pub. Brunch menu is full of eggs cooked in any way. Desserts are americans: sugar only! Very good

Had a list of recommended restaurants by TripAdvisor and the first one we went was a 40 minutes wait for a table of four for lunch. Looked down the street and saw O"Reilly's. We were immediately given a table and the waiter came right to the table to take our drink order. We were given bread rolls and soda bread... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
