I have been coming to this little slice of Provence situated the Village for years. It is such a warm, cozy & charming place to have leisurely meal and people watch through the large front windows on Macdougal Street just south of Washington Square. It...More

Chez Jaqueline is on the edge of Greenwich Village but looks like it's plucked from a village in France. It's not large but comfortable. The food is good. I had the chicory salad and it was tasty. The beef was good. But the sautéed spinach...More

It's hard to mess up French food but this place does it! For starts 3 of the 4 things we ordered from the menu were not available. I ended up ordering a fish dish I couldn't even finish. It's a pity the food is so...More

A welcoming small bistro feel with nice food and specials that don't break the budget. Friendly service.

A very good onion soup followed by garlicky escargot. Côte du Rhone was earthy and good. Pleasant service. Local favorite by the sounds of chatter. We saw several folks from the Film Forum four or five blocks away.

We ate here on a Living Social voucher. They treated us great. The food was very good, the ambience was nice. We ate on Halloween, one block from the Greenwich Village start of the parade, so there were definitely some characters running around. I'd recommend...More

I thought this place was the best deal in town the first time I went there, and I am a New Yorker. I have now been to this place at least 10 times over the last few years and can attest that you get very...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

I don't think they have a buffet but they do offer a prix fixe three course dinner for $28 according to their website.
