This place was very close to our hotel on the way to a meeting so perfect stop for breakfast. There is table service or carry-out service. The coffee is wonderful and the service very prompt! They have a great selection of pastries and breads. We had eggs with salmon and dill in a mini frying pan and croissant with gruyére... More

Stopped in for some tea and a muffin or pastry. Busy place!. Lots of choices for breads and pastries-yum! Many young families wth babies in tow. Visited the same restaurant in Bordeaux, France and felt the same. Nice atmosphere.

Had bfast here during our stay in NY. The serving took a little long for just the four of us. Food was very good and cafe au lait was as big as a tub! Good stuff and good selection. Friendly staff and cozy ambient.

Went in for breakfast. Ordered 2 soft boiled eggs and 2 waffles. Having waited for an hour for our food (which was not exactly difficult or time consuming to produce) we were greeted by cold hard boiled eggs and waffles which were very small and massively overpriced. The eggs were sent back and replaced by 'warmer' eggs which turned out... More

I have been eating at Pain Quotidien for years. I always think their coffee is great and have enjoyed their low calorie dishes. Clearly, otherwise I wouldn't be going back. Their food is by no means exceptional nor above average. The quality is consistent and good but not that all imaginative for a good veggie place. Plus it is twice... More

It does not look it from the outside, but trust me, you can host 12 - 15 guests on one long table there. Service is fast and good.

Quaint little breaky spot, variety of options all healthy/organic... the baked eggs are a must, scrummy croissants, with a French ambiance feel.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
